Crayon Brights are right for 2018!
This week I will continue to extol benefits of wearing really colourful clothing.
Anyone can look great in bright colours and just because the UK Spring has been a bit of a washout it doesn’t mean that our clothing needs to be dull.
I’ve selected a few of my favourite SS18 looks, all of my choices include vibrant colours and set the tone for a good Spring /Summer vibe.
Marc Jacobs SS18
Bright colours are big news!
They truly are which is why I keep writing about them, I love how the designers showcased the trend but kept their collections unique by mixing, shapes, textures and patterns to show just how diverse bold colours can be.
You don’t have to look outrageous in colourful clothing unless you wish to. Bright colours are fun but can be sophisticated and sexy depending on how you wear them 😍😚
You can be monochrome or mix a few colours to achieve a range of looks .
Affordable Colourful Outfits
A few weeks ago I did a photoshoot with stylist Brona Cooley and photographer Liam J Pye.
I’m blogging about the outfits because I really like them.
You can find Brona and Liam on Instagram :
This Mustard coat is really summery and made me feel so happy while I was wearing it.
It’s faux suede and is light and will be good for a mild Spring day or summer night.
I’m wearing the UK size 10, you can buy it using the link below the picture.
The green trousers worked really well with the yellow jacket. I liked wearing them as I don’t usually wear loose clothing. I’m wearing the size 10 but would probably have fitted into the size 8 as they are quite large .
When Brona paired the trousers with the floral t-shirt it reminded me of the Marc Jacobs Runway designs. You can buy the trousers from Zara online.
The white t-shirt is also from Zara, it’s really pretty and is available in a range of sizes.
Feeling summery 😆😆😆
Zara really impressed me with the quality of the clothing, the prices are reasonable and the colours are great.
More cool stuff for you to buy gurl 😚
Here are a few items that you might want to check out.
When ordering from AliExpress always refer to the size guides and customer reviews before you order because some of the items are in Chinese sizes and you may need to buy them a few sizes larger to get your desired fit .

This post is shorter than usual because I spent the afternoon hula hooping.
