Yellow Fashion Trends 2018

Bright Colours Are In!

Wear Yellow this Spring /Summer 2018

This year bold colours are set to reign supreme, the brighter the better and you won’t go wrong.

In this article I’m going to focus on yellow because it’s one of my faves and it was omnipresent at the SS18 shows.

There were lots of yellow dresses on the catwalk but there were also trousers and suits for the glitterati to consume. SS18 IS GOALS 😍😍😍

As you can see yellow is a versatile colour as it can be worn with a multitude of colours.

There are a myriad of shades such as Lemon, Canary Yellow, Mustard, Neon Yellow and many more.

When the likes of Tatler, Harpers Bazaar, Elle and Marie Claire report on yellow you know that it’s going to be a major fashion fixture in 2018 so celebs across the world took notice!!!!

My Yellow Look

For my look I wanted something that was affordable and accessible especially as it’s still freezing in the UK!!

I love the Yellow with a hint of pink

I bought my dress from Boohoo 8 years ago for £8.00.

It’s really bright and quite stretchy mine is a size 8 but there’s a lot of room in it, I’d recommend it as it has lasted quite long and hasn’t lost it’s colour after years of washing.

Boohoo are now selling a similar dress in mustard for £8.00.

Boohoo £8.00

My cardigan was from the Forever 21 sale , I’ve previously blogged about it so will link the article.

However you can choose from some of these cardigans that I’ve selected.

Boohoo £15.00

Pretty Little Thing £45

I decided to add a hint of pink to raise the look and would have worn a hot pink jacket or shirt I’d had one to hand.

Instead I decided to wear one of my favourite pairs of shades. They were only £2.28 without any shipping fees woohoo 😎😎😆😆😆😆💓💓💖💗

You can wear any black, red, pink, grey, green, purple, gold or silver shoes with a yellow ensemble.

My boots are unavailable but Public Desire has some nice ones on their site like these:

Mustard is currently the go to shade of yellow for the high street, it’s a good choice as it’s more neutral than some of the other variations of yellow.

It’s a good segue into the Spring and for people that want a more modest look.

Yellow suits a variety of skin tones and age groups and can be both fun and sophisticated.

Here are a few of my favourite yellow pieces at the moment.

LOTD £10.00

Boohoo £10.00

Miss Selfridge £39.00$ja=tsid%3a29609%7cprd%3a176013

Try yellow accessories of you don’t want to bedecked in yellow like. Me.
